Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains how payments are taken and handled for orders placed with Layam Enterprises at layam.online.

Currency and pricing

All prices on this website are listed in Indian Rupees (INR, ₹). Prices shown are the maximum retail price and are inclusive of all applicable taxes, in line with the MRP printed on each pack. Any shipping charge, where applicable, is shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.

How payment is processed

Payments are processed through Shopify's secure checkout and its authorised payment providers. Your payment details are transmitted directly to the payment provider over an encrypted connection.

Layam Enterprises does not see, handle or store your full card number, CVV or banking credentials at any point. We receive only confirmation of whether a payment succeeded or failed, along with the last few digits and card type needed to identify the transaction for support and refunds.

Accepted payment methods

The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout and may vary depending on your location, your bank, and the device you are using. Where a method is not displayed at checkout, it is not currently available for your order.

When you are charged

Payment is taken in full at the time you place your order. Your order is confirmed only once payment has been authorised. If authorisation fails, the order is not created and no goods are reserved.

Failed, declined or duplicate payments

If a payment is declined, please check the details entered and any limits set by your bank, then try again or use a different method. If money has left your account but you did not receive an order confirmation, the transaction has most likely been placed on a temporary hold by your bank and will be released automatically, usually within 5 to 7 business days.

If you believe you have been charged twice or charged for an order you did not receive, contact us with the transaction reference and we will investigate and resolve it.

Order verification

To protect customers against fraudulent transactions, we may occasionally contact you to verify details before dispatching an order. If we are unable to verify an order, we reserve the right to cancel it and refund the payment in full.
