What makes LAYAM different from supermarket spices?

Mass-produced spice trades aroma for shelf life. Ours doesn't. Every batch in our Kerala's Own range is handpicked, sun-dried the traditional way, and hand-sorted before packing — so what reaches your kitchen still smells like the farm it came from.

Where do your spices come from?

Directly from family-run farms across Kerala, where cardamom, pepper, clove and cinnamon have grown in the same red soil for generations. We buy from the growers, not through layers of aggregators.

Do you add fillers, preservatives or anti-caking agents?

No. No fillers, no anti-caking agents, no colour, no shortcuts. Just spice.

Should I buy whole spices or powders?

Whole spices hold their aroma far longer, because the oils stay locked inside until you grind or temper them. Powders are the convenience option for everyday cooking. We offer both — and our powders are stone-ground in small batches from the same whole spice we sell.

How should I store them?

Airtight, away from direct sunlight, and never above the stove. Heat and light are what strip aroma. Keep whole spices whole until you need them, and grind fresh where you can — it makes a bigger difference than most people expect.

Orders & Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We currently ship within India only. Standard delivery is 4–7 business days. Metro cities — Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Chennai — typically arrive faster.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We ship within India only for now — international delivery is something we're working towards.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships you'll receive a tracking link by email and WhatsApp, so you can follow it the whole way.

How is my order packed?

Every order is packed to hold freshness and aroma in transit. A spice that loses its fragrance before it reaches you has already lost the point.

Something arrived damaged or incorrect. What now?

Get in touch through our Contact page with your order number and a photo, and we'll make it right.

Do you take bulk, restaurant or corporate gifting orders?

We do. Reach out via our Contact page and we'll come back within 24 hours with pricing and customisation options.
